Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting

We used to use GoTo Meeting as a tool for conference calls with suppliers and clients. We also used it as a tool to enable calls for collaborator from inside the company, supporting collaboration between teams based in different locations of the company.

  • Breakout rooms could be more intuitive
  • Access to meeting for people from outside of the company has some difficulties sometimes
  • Increase in productivity because of less time wasted on travels to in-loco meetings.
GoTo Meeting is a good lightweight solution for video conferences and, because of that, stands out as a good tool for PCs with more limited processing power and mobile phones. On the other hand, it has less features when compared to competitors like Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, such as the ability to create breakout rooms and the ease to create meetings with non-employees.

GoTo Meeting is well suited for small conference calls when you need to make a presentation for a small group of people, for example. For larger meetings, like seminaries, classes or workshops, where you might need some interactions through the chat or you need to setup some breakout room, other options deliver a better work.
