Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We've used GoTo for internal (remote) company meetings as well as client meetings when it's more convenient and expedient than traveling for face-to-face in-person meetings, which can save a lot of time yet still give you the more personal touch of seeing who your speaking with.

Cons

Maybe do away with the password system. Anyone with the meeting link should be able to quickly click and enter the meeting.

Return on Investment

Especially through the pandemic, having a tool like GoTo for client meetings was a lifesaver. We couldn't have survived without that face-to-face contact.
During the pandemic, using GoTo to have impromptu workplace "happy hours" kept us connected as a team which was invaluable to the company.

Alternatives Considered

Zoom and Microsoft Teams

GoTo is right up there with the more popular Zoom. There is really not a lot of difference between these two platforms. Zoom can get bogged down with needing multiple meetings at the same time with our company so we'll opt for GoTo as a back-up. The Microsoft Teams version was always very problematic for various users-- trouble connecting and staying connected. We tried Teams very briefly and ditched it for GoTo.

It is an effective tool for any type of face-to-face hands-free (phone-free) meeting so you can share your screen with someone. Great for presentations and collaborating with someone not physically in the same place as you or your team. Face it, using a phone app (though they also have this) is more annoying than being able to sit at a computer because of the hand movement.
