GoTo Webinar for the webinars
Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Webinar
This product we generally use for webinars and yes it has the capability to handle the audience. This software also has good options to share the screen, chat options and also recording management is good. This Platform has a simple interface to use it. that helps while presenting something. A few of the negatives I faced but yes this can be continued.
Pros
- Webinar
- Session recording
- Presentation
Cons
- Audio
- Interface while presenting shows a black area on audience screen
- File attachment and Chat option
- We organized many of webinars and it has capability to handle amount of audiance and yes it does well. Interaction online with attendees is also easy so after the webinar ends we can share the recording to attendees and also get reports analytics easily to contact them again.
- Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Teams is also a good option but sharing the screen is handy but I don't think in Zoom. So both can be used. GoTo webinar has a good feature which is starting the publish so recording and sharing will start only after that once we are ready. Other platforms are also good but this one has some advantages than other.

As I mentioned this is easy to use, straight forward, less features, high scale software so it makes us to use this software again. We use it on regular basis. It also has very low size package which takes low storage on system and all saves on its server and video recording on system.
Well after providing this much good info and review I don't think this question need to be answered. So if I got an opportunity to select and evaluate the software I'll go for it definitely based on the factors and options available on this software. This platform is usable on regular basis.
GoTo Webinar Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Change management was minimal - Implementing GoTo Webinar taught me several key lessons about change management. First, communication is crucial; keeping everyone informed about the transition helps ease concerns and build support. Second, providing adequate training and resources is essential for a smooth adoption process, ensuring that users feel confident with the new platform. Lastly, being flexible and open to feedback allows for continuous improvement, addressing any issues that arise and adapting to the needs of the team. These lessons highlight the importance of preparation, support, and adaptability in managing change effectively
- Resistance to Change
- Technical Challenges
- Varying Training Needs
GoTo Webinar Training
- No Training
The GoTo Webinar product was somewhat intuitive, making it possible for tech-savvy users to learn the basics without formal training. However, for those less familiar with such platforms, training was necessary to fully understand and utilize all features effectively. I wouldn't recommend skipping training altogether, as it can lead to underutilization of the platform's capabilities and potential frustration among users. Instead, a hybrid approach—offering initial training while providing self-learning resources—would be more effective for diverse user groups
