Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting
GoTo Meeting is used sporadically around our organization when we are not hosting the meeting. We utilize Google Meet as our primary video conferencing tool but use GoTo Meeting when several of our partners are hosting. For us, it is unnecessarily clunky and outdated. It has a lot of bells and whistles but seems behind the times in its interface.
- It has been around for awhile.
- It has a reliable up time.
- It works across most platforms.
- Instead of pushing a client download, make it easier to use the web version.
- Update the user interface to make it a more friendly UEX.
- It has taken a lot of my time as the tech integrator to get it to work for our staff. Out of all the programs we use, it is the one I get the most complaints about.
- Google Hangouts Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Skype
Despite being one of the original leaders in the field, I feel that GoTo Meeting has fallen behind the times of video calls. Zoom and Google Meet are far more user-friendly and integrate with existing tools better. GoTo Meeting does outrank Microsoft Teams and Skype but I wouldn't use that as a good form of measurement.
