Overall Satisfaction with Groove
Groove is used by multiple departments to optimize positive contact with our clients. We are able to see when an email is opened by an internal or external reader, which improves phone contact with external clients. We are able to more easily walk clients through specific, detailed processes by knowing they have the correct emails open to begin the process. We are also able to piece together clients that are following through on their word. We are able to create email templates and insert these templates quickly into a Google email—the client's name auto-populates. Groove works well with Google too; I have seamless use across the two.
Pros
- Pertinent email open history, including, date, time, and location. Live notifications.
- Tailored email templates.
- It is a beautiful interface. Beautiful.
Cons
- Occasionally, my templates don't load. Could be a connection issue.
- Ability to turn off my email opening notifications to my boss. He doesn't need to know every time I open one of his emails for reference.
- Groove can send tailored emails. It has improved client engagement in webinars and demonstrations.
- Groove has an intuitive calendar. It has vastly improved appointment-setting and therefore sales.
- Groove sends newsletters to keep me up to speed on new functions, always improving.
Marketo had a dashboard function in Salesforce, which was helpful, but overall Groove's dashboards and analytics are more intuitive and efficient. Marketo was unable to tell me in real-time when my emails were opened. Marketo did not have a calendar function to readily schedule meetings with my clients. Marketo was decent, but Groove is the future.
