Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

We use Gusto for time tracking, benefits, and some training.

Pros

  • Benefits Administration.
  • Time Tracking.
  • Break tracking.
  • Reminders for time tracking and pay days.

Cons

  • The app occasionally doesn't log a clock in or out.
  • It would be nice to have reminders for taking a break.
  • We had an issue with the insurance broker where they selected an out of network plan.
  • Previously, our payroll was managed outside of our office. This led to issues with time tracking, 401 distribution, and other things. Overall, Gusto has had a positive impact on time savings and accuracy.
Gusto is incredibly user-friendly, with great user design and intuitive websites and apps. As an employee, I mainly use the app on a day-to-day basis and have always had a great experience.
Gusto is more accurate and allows for more efficiency when tracking employee hours. While I am not the admin on our account, I notice that this product has impacted our team better.

It's great for hourly employees to track time in an office or work-from-home setting. We don't use Gusto for contractors, and I'm not totally sure why since I am not the admin for our organization at this time. We use bill.com for our contractors/consultants to receive payment.
