Overall Satisfaction with Heap

It's used for many things including A/B test tracking, marketing success, strategic partnerships, user utilization, new product launches and more. The data department works mostly with creating reports and then distributing or presenting to the required business area. The main thing we use it for is better user identification along with certain events. For example, who is clicking somewhere, when do they do it, and does it lead to a sale.
  • User identification.
  • Funnel views with conversions.
  • Filtering of Internal Traffic.
  • Support response time and solutions.
  • Exporting data.
  • More integrations.
  • Spurred new website design which cause more conversions and revenue.
  • Proved revenue owed to a strategic partner.
  • Discussed in monthly product meetings to discuss changes and additions.
Heap is a great tool, when used alongside other reporting tools, one can confirm and isolate specific results and view them among others. While there are many good things heap offers there are still areas for improvement. First being support, there's a several day delay on any email sent which often require a follow up, also most of the times the answer to my questions are "sorry, that's just the way it is." Secondly more integrations would be amazing we are currently unable to merge our data, for example a Zoho integration would be most useful to us.
Pages and reports load very quickly.
I prefer Heap. It's easier and more intuitive to use, also able to display data in a better way.

Do you think Heap delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Heap's feature set?

Yes

Did Heap live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Heap go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Heap again?

Yes

Heap is well suited for companies looking to improve their website, product, and marketing efforts. If you're looking to back up some information in a CRM, would say it is only useful for companies who require users to set up an account with user information. It's great for separating out areas of purchase/clicking that Google Analytics and other platforms do not do.
