Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite
My organization mainly uses Hootsuite for content planning and scheduling. It is so helpful to be able to plan content out for multiple social platforms a month or more in advance. Occasionally, we will use Hootsuite to monitor inboxes or check analytics but we mostly use it for planning.
Pros
- Very easy to use and simple calendar view of all content that is scheduled
- Social performance score is helpful for us to determine where we need to improve or where we've been doing well
- The create a post feature is very user friendly and simple to use
Cons
- On the month calendar view, I wish it showed which platforms posts are published on instead of just saying "2 published"
- Time saved with scheduling and analyzing best times to post
- Increased traffic to social accounts and increased follows
Hootsuite allows us to manage our content on all platforms in one place. We are able to ensure that everything being posted is consistent. We can watch in real time the engagement of the audience - responding to comments in one place helps us ensure we're using the appropriate wording, regardless of who is interacting. The calendar keeps us on track so we can manage how often we post.
