Overall Satisfaction with Hotjar
Hotjar is being used to see where on the pages we publish that visitors are engaging with our content. We also use Hotjar to put surveys on pages and to gain feedback about our content, pages, offerings, etc. Hotjar allows us to better see where people are confused on a page or what information they find useful.
- Heat tracking
- Surveys
- Activity tracking
- The interface is a bit clunky and requires too many button clicks
- The "simple URL" matching was a little confusing at first; I'd add an inline descriptor
- It's sometimes hard to tell if Hotjar is measuring all traffic to a given page
- Heat maps
- Tracking
- Surveys on site
- Improved conversion rates
- Decreased bounce rate
- Increased customer knowledge
We found that Hotjar has a very powerful and user-friendly interface. You can do more with it with regard to different things you want to measure/learn and it's more flexible to meet your needs. It's less of a point solution, as it has multiple features that many organizations will find useful and might not find in other tools.
