Can't Imagine My Day Without HubSpot
Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot
I use HubSpot in my day job (a financial services firm) and at home for freelance marketing purposes. In both installations, the websites are on WordPress and HubSpot is used for analytics, email marketing, social media, and landing pages. The business problem HubSpot solves for me is that it puts all of these assets in one place, so I don't need to employ dozens of separate tools.
Pros
- Training: HubSpot has hands-down the best training of any software I've used. They recently revamped their training programs with dozens of new videos and complementary resources. The ongoing live training and webinar series are also fantastic...I always learn something new. I've completed all of the certifications, except the COS Design.
- Support: The support team is fast and friendly, available by phone, email and Twitter, and they always follow up to make sure you're satisfied. If there's a feature not currently available, they'll log it as an idea for future product enhancements.
- Social Inbox: I love this tool. I use it in combination with HubSpot's Chrome extension, which saves me valuable time scheduling Twitter and LinkedIn updates.
- Reporting: The new reporting add-on is very powerful, and gives me the ability to quickly create visual reports for my monthly meetings.
Cons
- Inability to edit campaign names after they are created.
- Search Rankings: for my IT staffing firm, in just a few months we went from page 13 to a top page 1 position on Google for target keyword phrases. That was 2 years ago and we're still there.
- Leads: by creating content our target audience was searching for, we generated enough leads in 7 months to pay my full-time marketing salary for the year. It was incredible.
- Efficiency: HubSpot's social inbox saves me time that I can put to better use creating content.
