Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

HubSpot CRM is being used solely within the sales department, across all stages of the sales cycle (Lead prospecting, qualifying, tracking, closing, etc.). It helps us keep notes on every potential lead we make contact with and qualify at what stage they are in reference to their outdoor advertising needs. I personally use templates, sequencing, tasks, and update the deals as they progress, as well as have it linked to my company Gmail for email tracking.

  • Creating sequences is a bit cumbersome, having to create each template first, then select them, then adjust the settings for each step
  • Email tracking can't distinguish who exactly interacts with an email if there are multiple addresses on an email, and just reports "Someone".
  • When needing permission to a feature outside of my team, there is no easy way to push a request to my admin for access. So I have to manually reach out internally to my dept head and talk them through the access I need.

It is rather useable right from the start, just need to click around and see what each feature does. Overall it is one of the better CRMs that I have used, and only takes a once over to get the hang of each feature. Some features, such as sequence settings get a little clunky, but after a few uses, it becomes second nature.

Overall, the outreach, tracking, and follow-up processes are all very useful, especially when managing a large contact list across a decently sized sales team. When sending out mass emails, the sequencing is very useful, but it would be nice to make it easier to create a sequence, then go through a list of contacts to send it to, but doing so from anywhere within HubSpot CRM, not just on the one contact selection page. I need to review previous communications for some contacts before deciding whether to add them to the sequence list, and can't do so once I leave the contact selection page.
