Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM
Currently, HubSpot CRM is used by our entire company and helps to organize all of our information into pipelines (which we created) allowing us to better track the health of each and every deal we are working on. We also use some of the automation features to enhance our process. This allows us to remove redundancies from our daily work as well as remove some elements of human error (i.e. forgetting to follow up on something). I'm sure we haven't fully tapped into the potential of automation, but we're slowly incorporating it more and more.
Pros
- HubSpot CRM is FANTASTIC for customization. We are able to create our own pipelines, workflows, literally everything down to the properties on each deal/ticket/contact/etc.
- We love HubSpot CRM's ability to integrate with other platforms. Depending on the apps connected, there is a potential to fully automate parts of the process so that we never miss a step!
- Reporting is another area of customization but deserves its own mention. HubSpot CRM has several templated reports, but it's also possible to create just about anything else you could want.
Cons
- Occasionally, HubSpot CRM pushes updates that change (minor) functionality without warning. However, they are great at listening to feedback, and the few times this has happened, they have made adjustments within a couple of days. It would be great to get notifications about these updates before they happen so we would at least have a heads up.
- It would be great if HubSpot CRM objects (contacts, tickets, deals) could share properties. We currently have to duplicate some of the most important items and remember to update them across objects rather than just once.
- HubSpot CRM is how we run our business. I don't have the metrics for ROI, but there's almost no way we could operate without it (or something similar - which we haven't found)
We actually don't use HubSpot CRM in a way that's traditional to sales or marketing. For us, HubSpot CRM is how we organize all our data and keep things running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
I have never evaluated other products, and most of the CRM systems I have used were custom designed for the client I was working with at the time.
