Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

HubSpot CRM holds all of my contacts in various positions throughout the country (and world) for my use as a consultant. I am able to search and find the right contacts for the consulting and focus groups required by my customers. It is customizable and therefore I am able to glean the exact qualifications regarding each of my consulting contacts for the focus groups I put together.

Pros

Cons

  • Customization could be more intuitive.
  • Searching through the system could also be more intuitive.
  • I had to Google and use the help section for many of my tasks.
  • The platform being free saved me during the pandemic.
  • I can be highly reliable and identify my consultants in real time using the platform.
  • I like that I can keep adding to my CRM and it saves for free.
I have used Salesforce and this is just as usable. Salesforce is very very expensive and in my opinion, it is also very complex when it just doesn't need to be. I like HubSpot CRM because I can keep it simple and streamlined. I think it is so important that a CRM has a functionally usable platform on the free level where you can add additional functions at a cost later on, but Salesforce doesn't have that capacity.
I haven't had to do much marketing, so this is not something on which I can provide much insight.
I chose HubSpot CRM over Salesforce because I have used Salesforce before and it is unnecessarily complicated and cumbersome. On top of that, there is no level of free that I can use for my very young company where I must be careful with every penny spent on overhead. I chose Hubspot CRM for these reasons as it met my needs better.

HubSpot CRM is great for a small business trying to save money because it is very functional on the free level. So I really appreciate that I have access to a free format that I need for my small upstart of a business. I would imagine a larger company would require the paid level of service and if they can afford that, that is fine.
