Overall Satisfaction with IBM FileNet Content Manager

It is difficult to manage and maintain due to the complexity and what FileNet has to offer. Once it is operational, FileNet can support any organizations content storage and workflow needs.
We recommend companies on using FileNet Content Manager and therefore need to setup POC's and demos showing how FileNet can be used and integrated within the enterprise. We are required to show on prem and cloud based deployments.
  • search on multiple types of content
  • Integrate with other LOB systems
  • Maintain a structure for enterprise content management
  • Security - user and content
  • collaboration
  • User Interface
  • Control of the companies stored content
  • Quicker search times because of entry templates
It is much better because you can mold it to fit any document management requirement, however with this comes the requirement to put in place an effective taxonomy.
