Not a bad program to use
Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp
We use it for, as most businesses do, to send out mass email blasts to our clients at different times to let them know what is new in their industry, specials we are running, and how we can help them. Yes, it is an effective tool for sending out a message to a large group of folks quickly - and to make sure that the message is the same. Is it instant? No, but at least you can tailor a good message to that segment of your client base.
Pros
- Communicate out to large groups
- On trend with look, and feel - emails don't look dated
- Ability to add photos and video to messages
- Tailor message to different segments
Cons
- You can add videos, but it's still a bit clunky
- Photo integration could improve - feels a bit templated
- I would like to see a bit more ease of using different lists for sends, and perhaps better merge options
- Time Savings to multiple clients
- Our Open rate has been better on this platform than others
- The lists seem to be able to be worked with better here
We have not really benefitted from these features in Intuit Mailchimp - that we use in a different way.
- Dynamic content
- Campaign templates
- Email marketing
- Smart recommendations
- A/B testing
Have we been able to get the objectives that we have been trying for? Yes, that I believe in the way that we are using Intuit Mailchimp we have been able to get the results that we have been wanting, and to be able to utilize this software in the way that we need to has been an advantage for your company.
As we have grown, and shifted out business Intuit Mailchimp has shifted along with us - when we have had numbers in our client base go both up and down we have been able to utilize the best parts of the software to our advantage and be able to get our messages out to the people we were aiming to.
I thought both worked similar, but I thought Intuit Mailchimp was easter to use from the get go, and I thought Constant Contact was too "templated" in both appearance and style - that I feel like I have more control in Intuit Mailchimp.
