Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am an implementation specialist who sets up new/existing clients with our payroll services. Some clients have past payroll, some do not. I often struggle to find reports with needed information such as employee profiles, tax information, etc in other payroll providers softwares. isolved has many reports for clients ranging from small to large. There are reports in many categories, like payroll, hr, benefits, time, etc.

Pros

isolved has been releasing many fraud protection features as it is becoming more relevant.
The isolved community is very welcoming and partners come together to help each other.

Cons

While isolved makes many updates and fixes, some of these releases cause other things to break.
isolved makes many aesthetic changes which is nice, but we would like to see more functionality updates.
isolved can improve on their response time for customer support tickets

Support Rating

Partners and service bureaus put in a customer support ticket when help is needed. Most tickets are answered in a timely manner and some tickets aren't answered for quite a few days. isolved should at least respond back saying they are working on an answer. Very few tickets are never answered.

Automation

isolved has many features that triumph other payroll software's. isolved has a wide variety of reports for any business's needs. From payroll, hr, audits, tax, etc, isolved has the report you need. If there is a report you cannot find, they have a report writer to make your own. Most pages allow you to export into an excel spreadsheet, a quick way to edit and save what you need.

Alternatives Considered

ADP Workforce Now, Paycor and Paychex

I can never find reports I need to gather all of the information about a client needed for a new set up. This goes back to why I love isolved reports so much. There is literally a report for anything you need. I end up having to screenshot information from other payroll providers, meanwhile I can easily pull the report from isolved within just a couple of minutes in either pdf or excel.

While no platform is perfect, isolved contains many functions and features to allow their partners and clients to use their service with ease, resulting in long lasting relationships with the platform. isolved can keep up with simple accrual plans, but are still lacking real time updates. isolved has many products within geared towards larger clients, like time management, onboarding/offboarding, attract and hire.
