Overall Satisfaction with Iterable
We use Iterable to send out cross-channel communications using both automated workflows and campaigns. Iterable helps us achieve our goals of communicating marketing messages and servicing messages seamlessly using the segmentation tools and ensures we stay compliant. The useful features such as drag & drop and now the AI Journey builder has saved time building but also training newly recruited members of the team with no html or CRM experience.
Pros
- Communicating new products and how to use them
- Response time when dealing with issues
- Easy to use
Cons
- The reporting side of things seems to lack, particularly the Insights dashboard which looks like it could be made to be super useful if only you could add more filters to the visualisation charts and graphs which you can use.
- Very specific and not a huge issue, but the send time optimisation should consider the send time of other campaigns which are running simultaneously, we would love to use this feature more however the risk of sending campaigns within short proximity of each other is not worth it.
- The easy to use drag & drop enabled us to take a more centralised approach to the tech we use, previously using "Taxi for email" to build emails. My new manager realised we could cut them out and use Iterable which proved to be just as easy once we started using it. Saving of approx £20k+ a year.
- Similarly, using Iterable as the email builder as well as sender has saved time massively, meaning we can become more productive as a team. Unfortunately nothing tangible for this one but it has made significant impact to productivity levels.
- Iterable works seamlessly with MovableInk, enabling us to utilise great dynamic content and scale personalisation, improving comms. Unfortunately, due to a lack of reporting capabilities on revenue from our side the tangible impacts aren't available.
It's helped us contact customers at all touch points, ensuring we're getting messages out at the right time, to the right people and on the right channels. Albeit quite manual, due to a lack of data in and out of Iterable from our side, the segmentation tool is super useful and helps us become self sufficient in creating personalised segments and pots of customers which shows in our engagement statistics.
All the different custom event fields in Iterable have helped us massively, as a team we've been focused on getting smarter and more self-sufficient with our segmentation and Iterable's features have been great in helping us do so. Using the custom fields within our onboarding flow has ensured a super personalised welcome to our brand, ensuring they're receiving the right information at the right times. As we improve our data capabilities within the coming months we hope to expand on this and Iterable's easy to use features should continue to help us in doing so.
Taxi for email works as an easy to use drag & drop editor, but no better than Iterable which also offers a way of sending cross-channel campaigns to customers. Braze looked like a great platform, however the sales team were super pushy and really put us off the product, with Iterable our communications are much nicer and our Iterable csm(s) are great. We use MovableInk in collaboration with Iterable, both are great products and Iterables is easy to integrate movableink with.
