Overall Satisfaction with LinkedIn Talent Solutions

Used by recruitment teams to find candidates to passive recruit for our positions. We don’t use their application features in LinkedIn. All candidates are redirected to our external application when they hit the apply button in LinkedIn. We also use this to send InMails to candidates we would like to apply for our roles. Secondarily LinkedIn Talent Solutions allows us to post our jobs on their network for people to find on their own.

LinkedIn is better than any of the platforms out there for its professional talent network. It would be better if LinkedIn let candidates fill out application information on their site and then LinkedIn sent us the application in an integration with ADP. We use ADP for all tracking but some candidates won’t apply to a job they find on LinkedIn if they get redirected. I like the ability to search for candidates with specific skills, but not necessary for roles at an entry level or with low requirements on skills, experience, and education.

Very well suited for finding candidates if you are not getting a lot of applicants or qualified applicants. Also well suited to professional jobs where a bachelors degree or higher is required due to the professionalism of the LinkedIn Brand. Talent Solutions would not be suited for a company with a lot of openings or growth as their organization of projects and job posts is not easy. Additionally long term roles or forever open roles wouldn’t work well with LinkedIn Talent as their postings expire every two weeks automatically and you have to reset the posting. This can cause issues with your overall analytics of data for applicant tracking and marketing in the recruitment area.
