Overall Satisfaction with Litmus

Amending existing html templates

Pros

  • Nice layout easy proof/comments/sharing feature easy code editing

Cons

  • No auto-save - always forget to press save after every edit bugs if open in more than one tab - shows an old version (very confusing) subject line and pre-header aren't correct in proof mode
  • Speeds up amends to internal email builder designs
Tied into an internal system, great to have Litmus as an easier to use feature

Have used Mailchimp but not recently - from what I remember Litmus is easier to edit templates and store them

Great for editing existing templates - can't speak to building from scratch inside of Litmus. Version control would be a great add.
