Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

Mailchimp is being used at our organization to send out relevant segmented newsletters to our blog subscribers. We use it in a limited capacity, but in the past, with the health blog I worked for as a freelancer, we used more customization aspects to deliver personalized emails.
  • Personalization.
  • User-friendly.
  • Relevant.
  • More advanced capabilities for technical users.
  • More integrations with other technology.
  • Better subscriber management.
  • Helps to maintain email lists.
  • Helps to deliver user-friendly and segmented emails.
  • Helps us to create highly personalized newsletters.
Mailchimp is something that's carried over from previous leadership. We are planning to deprecate it in my current role in the future and transition our email marketing efforts completely over to our marketing automation software, which had lacked a subscription management service in the past. In my previous role, it worked well for our needs. This goes to show that software is really conditional to the unique organization. It's not bad, but for someone more advanced in the field, again, I wouldn't recommend it. This is for beginners.
It's good to use as a starter email marketing platform. If you are more advanced in the field, I would recommend a more thorough software, such as a marketing automation platform. Email marketing is great for beginners, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is more well-versed in the field.
