Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I was the main point of contact on our Mailchimp account and the decision maker when it came to us using Mailchimp. The reason I chose the product is because it was shown to me in college. I was the main person to create and distribute content for multiple doctors at our practice. We used Mailchimp to create and send out newsletters and marketing content.

Pros and Cons

Mail automation.
[Dual] mailing lists.
Mailings layouts.

Free but limited.

Return on Investment

Mailchimp helped us stay in contact with non-repeating customers.
We used the free version so the monetary benefit was nice to change from a paid for service.
We would book appointments off the back of sending emails out.

Alternatives Considered

Marketo

I am not the owner of the Marketo account in my new position but it is the most comparable product to Mailchimp that I have used.

Likelihood to Recommend

I liked it because it was free for what I needed to do. I would highly recommend for a small business, or someone just learning to distribute content. I believe the functionality is extremely easy, and highly suggest anyone who wants to use it should check it out.
