Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

The Mailchimp e-mail platform is used to communicate to the membership, prospective membership, event attendees, and other relevant constituents. The tool integrates directly with the CRM and allows for detailed segmentation, based on demographics, interests, event attendance, and membership. The product solves the issue of having limitations to communicate effectively and promptly.

The integration with Salesforce was much more powerful with Mailchimp and was a key decision aspect to consider. Mailchimp also had a friendlier interface for use and a larger community to refer to for ideas and implementation tutorials. The amount of information that is available on how to use the software was also considered when selecting the product.
Mailchimp is easy to use, friendly, integrates well with our CRM, and is widely used at all levels of the organization. Training for Mailchimp can be easily performed by resorting to existing documentation or by referring to other useful materials online. Overall, it is easy to find how to perform key tasks in the system.
Mailchimp is still being implemented for all marketing functions. The main function of its current use is to send out newsletters. The automation and journeys are a feature that we are eager to explore and know that these features are available allows us to plan, based on the tools that we have at hand.
Data organization and list management have been successful and are still being polished. The hand-in-hand integration with the CRM is extremely helpful to create targeted campaigns and reach audiences as needed. An important lesson is to have only one audience, instead of multiple, when wanting to segment, based on specific fields or activities.
