Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 Business
We use Microsoft 365 Business in two capacities. One is that we use the business applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, One Note, Outlook) but that extends to cloud management tools provided by Microsoft Azure for basic cyber security applications. Secondly, we user PowerApps to develop tools for the above-mentioned applications so that we can monetize the work we do for other organizations.
- MS Word is the absolute best word processor
- MS Excel is best of breed for spreadsheet applications
- MS PowerPoint is best of breed for presentations
- Better integration with 3rd-party cloud applications
- More variety of logging in One Note
- Less confusing pricing structure
- Simple licensing model for users means faster deployments.
- Always up-to-date versions of productivity tools.
- Seamless integration between applications results in less IT support required.
Not included in the list above is the Google G-Suite of applications and their line of Office-like productivity tools. In our evaluation of both office platforms, we chose MS Office 365 Business due to the extended platform of applications, native support for OneDrive cloud storage and SharePoint, and the simpler licensing model.
