Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

We are migrating from our current collaborative platform towards MS teams. The first feedback from users during the pilot was extremely positive where the tool became the "go to" solution for meetings, document sharing and content focused discussion for communities and product teams. It provides a significant leap over MS's previous social solutions and provides a real and viable alternative to the aging Sharepoint services. The support for video is stable and functional and meeting most of our needs. We have an expectation that TEAMS will support multiple protocol video bridges in the new future.
  • The platform supports content sharing and collateral discussion around this content. The presentation of this capability in a multiple function environment enables real and effective multi-site teamwork.
  • MS's new video standard is impressive, easy to use and of notable quality.
  • The instant chat is accessible and fully functional allowing spontaneous exchange between colleagues.
  • Support for multi-protocol video meetings is the one area we noted for improvement and where we need to keep an alternative solution.
  • Will allow our teams to work effectively from multiple sites and countries without forcing expensive travel.
  • Extends our existing services user collaboration without significant cost increase.
  • The incomplete video solution requires we maintain a second video meeting standard, adding cost and causing user confusion.
A more complete solution with better integration with existing Office productivity tools.
Product development: supporting exchange between colleagues including content sharing and subject matter conversations. Community dialogues: a go-to center to support the conversation between members of communities of common interest, such as charters and guide in software development. Video meetings: supporting both high-quality multipoint meetings as well as 1:1 working sessions.
