Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it to coordinate project work with individuals on my team in individual chats and also on group work with my team members in one group chat. It's nice to have an application on my computer that allows for both individual and group chat. I also use it to share my computer screen for project work or viewing someone else's screen that needs help solving a problem. I also use the call feature in teams that uses my computer's microphone to communicate with another person or my team through teams on my computer and their computers.

Pros and Cons

Screen share between computer clients.
Communication between team members individually.

With my phone that has Teams and is linked to my work account, it would be nice if my status could be set to away based on my computer being turned off rather than it being set to available due to my phone being on. I wish there was a way to base the status based on my desktop status.
Be able to see more than a week of the Teams calendar in the phone app. It would be cool if I could see more days than that of my work calendar.

Better communication and collaboration on my team.
Easier to support my team members through seeing their screens when working at different locations.

Alternatives Considered

Slack

They are pretty similar, but I found that Microsoft Teams is more user-friendly and straightforward. I like the mobile application for Microsoft Teams than I did with the mobile application for Slack. Both are great applications for communication between individuals and teams.

Support Rating

In the last year, I've only had it crash a handful of times. It has worked really well recently. Microsoft made a great product and continue to support it for my organization.

It is great for both team and co-worker collaboration
It's great to be able to use screen share and have it work effectively and clearly between computers
I enjoy being able to have Teams on my computer desktop and on my phone in case I'm away from my computer for some reason I can still communicate with my team if they need something from me.
I like being able to see the next several days on the team's app on my phone.
I wish the statuses were easier to customize between my phone and desktop. If I'm away from my desktop, I could set my phone teams app status to be the same as desktop status.

I love using Microsoft Teams with my team!
