Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

Well, we are using it in place of Skype for Business. Since that has gone (or is going) away, we've switched to Teams. Some internal teams have been using MS Teams regularly since we switched to O365. Some of us, myself included, are "old school" and have kept our IM via Skype and used Teams, too. Very soon, we will all be using it exclusively. We use this type of internal communication extensively - at least in part because we have so many of us who do not work in the same building.
  • Collaboration
  • Sharing of images, documents.
  • I don't find it to be terribly intuitive.
  • We had to have someone do a presentation for us to make things more clear.
  • Ultimately, I think it will be great once we have all learned all that it offers.
  • I'm still learning it, so I'm no expert but for basic communication it is great.
We're transitioning from Skype for Business. I like the sharing capability in Teams. I have always had issues with things "freezing up" if someone sent me a screenshot via Skype. Not sure why, but it wasn't only me. With Teams, this is much easier and doesn't cause any issues. I'm still learning it, though, so I'm sure it does so much more!
I feel that there's always room for improvement no matter how great the product. But, overall, it's an improvement in "IM"-type communication. And, it has so much more integrated into it, too. I'm sure that once I learn it, I'll give it a 9! But, for now, 8 it is.....

Do you think Microsoft Teams delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Microsoft Teams's feature set?

No

Did Microsoft Teams live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Microsoft Teams go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Microsoft Teams again?

Yes

Well, I think it's great for regular everyday communication. In that respect, it works just like IM, Skype, or whatever other internal messaging apps you've used. But, it's very easy to add screenshots or documents and pictures. That is nice. And, of course, it has emojis and you can "like" things. (That's completely unnecessary in my view, but some people "like" it.)
