Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Right now it is only being used in scattered business departments across the organization. It helps us address the need to collaborate in real-time while in a virtual workspace especially since we have employees who are on-site and some virtual. It can also allow for collaboration beyond scheduled meeting times.
  • Real-time collaboration.
  • Templates to build off of.
  • Screens to move around and navigate for presentation.
  • Easier access for those without an account.
  • Easier to navigate between touch screen, touchpad, and mouse.
  • Allow for editable default sizes of shapes.
  • Improved collaboration.
  • Productive Meeting Time.
  • Effective brainstorming and organization.
I did not have any experience with implementation.
I think it does work well with Microsoft Teams but it could be better. It could also be much easier for meeting participants to join and use the tool- especially if they could do it directly from Teams without leaving the meeting page to do so. Ultimately, this is probably the fault of Microsoft Teams and not Miro.
It has allowed us (we have over 30+ locations and an entirely remote workforce) to collaborate without trying to meet in person when that's impossible. Therefore has cut down on the need for employees to move locations and waste time traveling to work together like they were all in a room together.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Ultimately, for the purpose of planning across an organization where so many people are remote, Miro makes it much easier to collaborate especially when using Microsoft Teams (as it doesn't have an annotate feature that other video conferencing platforms have). It would be nice to have PowerPoint slides go directly into the board and function in a presentation mode (maybe a little easier than it currently is, which is just copying and pasting slides in). Best suited for having strategy discussions, brainstorming sessions, PM planning sessions.
