Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Used across the whole organization, it is used for roadmaps, visual project management, etc. I used it for layouts of offices as well. R&D uses it for releases, etc. It addresses visualization of the plans, projects, releases, etc.
  • It has a lot of great templates & you can easily re-use another board as a template.
  • It is very colorful and flexible.
  • It remembers where my latest boards are.
  • It is very chaotic and hard to keep organized - too flexible.
  • It is very hard to select the right pieces and move them or edit them.
  • It is not logical.
  • Better, central visibility.
It was quite frustrating at first, taking a lot of time to create what I wanted. I had to get guidance and examples from others to be able to achieve my goal. Starting was definitely not easy. Access to the software is easy, but starting and creating a board is not.
Like I said under implementation: it's a learning curve to use it.
Yes, it is very helpful to work on one board with people all over the world. This is one of the best perks of Miro. It's the same visual board we all look at that makes us use Miro.

Yes

It's well suited for creativeness. It's very hard to use from scratch. It's easy when you start from a template or other board, but the learning curve is not always easy. I was very tempted to go to XLS, as the Visual Project Management wasn't very linear at first. Once I learned how it worked a bit, I was okay to proceed, but still not super excited because of the challenge of selecting the right pieces that I want to move or edit.
