Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I am the president of a social impact student organization at a large university. When COVID-19 took away our weekly meetings with our project managers, Miro gave us a platform to take our work and collaboration online and elevated the way we brainstorm, mindmap, and problem solve. The templates and tools available are exhaustive and complemented well with resources to take your team to the next level.
  • Templates
  • Project management resources
  • UX experience
  • Leading the user to try new features
  • Improved productivity
  • improved collaboration
  • less time spent
When implementing it with your team, it's important that you give them some time to play around with the tools themselves. When you first get onto it, it can seem overwhelming, but everything becomes easy to figure out, quickly.
I haven't integrated it much with other applications but I know that there are very accessible APIs and auto integrations available.
Our team has held virtual brainstorming sessions that have helped facilitate two new projects. At our ideation meeting via Miro, we were able to well flesh out a lot of details and collaborate well using the team build and ideation templates.

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

As a collaborative whiteboard platform, other project management software does not provide the same value-add. While other tools might be extensively comprehensive, Miro provides project management software disguised for everyday use. No matter how you use it, it is a great productivity tool.
Miro is well suited for problems that require system thinking. For example, it can be incredibly valuable for mapping out SOPs. It is less valuable when it comes to separating out bodies of text.
