Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I have used MIRO mainly for my classes. It helps me to promote cooperative work between my students. It's a very reliable tool and it's easy to use. It's very helpful when I use it as part of my online classes to build graphic organizers that help to learn the things my students need to learn. I have used MIRO as a tool for meetings with faculty members. I love how you can give easy access to anyone and in a matter of seconds, they are working with you online.
  • Its easy to share access with other people.
  • You have a wide variety of layouts to choose from.
  • The work is automatically saved.
  • They can use new layouts, more options.
  • A chat function, this could be helpful to organize different teams.
  • Allow html more advanced functions.
  • Reduced online meeting times.
  • Helped with the cooperative work in my classes.
  • Easy to use, easy to learn, quick to set up.
You should have some time to explore and practice with all the tools MIRO has to offer. Search in the layouts to choose the one which suits your needs the better, if you can´t find one you can have a blank canvas to work from scratch. Give your students or coworkers time to know how MIRO works with some practice diagrams.
It's easy to share via a link either by mail or chat. You can use the link in a virtual classroom to offer direct access to your students, i.e. I use Moodle and have no problems linking it with MIRO. I don´t give it the full 10 scores because I have experienced some access issues.
I use it for two main purposes: one as a teacher. In my classes, I rely a lot on group discussions, and MIRO is an excellent solution to manage the online debates in real-time classes. I have also used it with my coworkers to plan projects and discuss some ideas to solve work problems.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

The main reason I prefer MIRO is the fact that you can collaborate online and in "live time" with others. You can use it to share opinions and not only to receive them. MIRO allows people to interact with each other a very valuable asset in this virtual work and the educational world we are living in.
MIRO is well suited for group work, collaborating with your peers, or encouraging students to be cooperative and share their thoughts and questions. It offers a great way to work on a project with other people because you can focus the discussion on a single topic with the help of a graphic organizer. MIRO is not that appropriate to share files or documents.
