Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used on a daily basis for brainstorming and sharing ideation ideas in a visual way. We come back to it at every stage of the design process to ensure all team members are kept up to date and on the same page. Usually, Miro is kept as an informal means of working, and links are added to other software with definite ideas.

Pros

  • Flexible format
  • Visual communication
  • Onoine work

Cons

  • Links between boards
  • History of user changes
  • Option to assign tasks
  • Improved communication
  • Faster virtual ideation
  • Better retention of ideas
It is a very easy platform to use, so it does not require any team training. We introduced it as a quick ideation tool, and it was very well received. We continued to use and refer back to it throughout the project. We had positive feedback from all those involved in using it.
As previously mentioned, it was implemented with no staff training and was received very well. It integrates very well with platforms that are already in regular use because of the interactive way in which external links can be added to the Miro boards.
We have been able to work remotely in a way that was previously only possible in person. Sharing quick sketches, images, and links are very important to our ideation and design process. Historically we would do this around a table, but we introduced Miro when this was no longer possible. It allows us to collaborate in real-time in this same way.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is very well suited to online working and informal situations. It is less well suited to producing formal documents because it can be difficult to format text in a specific way. It's great for collecting links from other sites as these are displayed in an informative and interactive way.
