Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro as part of online meetings and process improvement ideas. I have also used Miro as part of six sigma and lean projects to improve work flow and create more efficient processes. We have used the group collaboration functions such as the sticky notes to generate and brainstorm ideas as a group.

Pros

  • Sleek interface
  • Multiple users
  • Great whiteboards and skills
  • Process mapping
  • Online sticky notes and project boards

Cons

  • Have an editing and viewing mode to keep from accidentally writing something in group mode
  • Integrate Excel spreadsheets
  • Utilize Miro in Teams meetings
  • Reduced project time
  • Enabled greater collaboration
  • Improved productivity
  • Enabled one meeting to replace a few days of in person meetings
I was not involved in the actual implementation, but I have been a user of Miro in meetings and projects. I love the ability to send out an email and have users quickly sign in and begin to collaborate. There were no interruptions or issues with getting users signed on and even quickly getting users added to the meeting during the initial meeting. We had no glitches and all users had full functionality.
It is a great interface and able to bring multiple users together. The ability to pick different functions based on what type of meeting or project you are running from whiteboards, sticky notes, to process mapping makes running an online meeting easy. It can be hard to try to run a meeting with 10+ users. Miro makes it easy for all users to be engaged through putting sticky notes or writing things on the white board. The ability to save work for later means no more taking pictures of complicated diagrams on paper sticky notes to be transcribed at a later date!
The whiteboard make it easy for tons of users to share and write ideas. The pandemic has meant that our organization has been remote for most of the year. We have been launching and running complicated new projects with the need to stay connected and engaged. We have used MIRO to plan and document multiple projects lean initiatives to drive process improvement initiatives across our company while being remote. The project leaders have been able to keep users and the teams engaged and on topic.

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It is great for team meetings. Miro is best for when teams are scattered across the country. Miro is also good and replaces traditional poster board and large conference room process improvement projects. I have used Miro to bring together a team of different people planning a complicated project. Miro is well suited to map out and place everyone's different processes into a single format to map and understand the whole process.
