Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro boards for workshops building out our products. Ideation and brainstorming.

Pros

  • Content is thorough.
  • Presentation mode makes it easy to explore and present in parallel.
  • Collaboration is easy.
  • Nice touches like working music.

Cons

  • Login process through SSO is annoying.
  • Reduced project completion time.
  • Improved collaboration.
When my team tries to sign into Miro via SSO we are always kicked fairly fast and need to go through multiple sign-in screens to log back in. This is really the only implementation feature we have trouble with.
Because of the SSO issue described earlier, integration with Miro is OK, but not fantastic. Getting it set up was not difficult and creating and sharing new boards is fine. It's just the sign-in process that can be pretty annoying.
Collaboration is fantastic through Miro. It's great for living documentation between product and engineering. I like that everybody can individually explore and contribute to different parts of the boards when we collaborate.

Miro is much more comprehensive and user-friendly than draw.io.
Miro is perfect for engineer collaboration with the product team. The product team designs components and we (engineers) can easily leave comments or concerns on the Miro board.
