Overall Satisfaction with Miro
My organization is a branding consultancy, we work with remote clients in the US and Latin America. As part of my team is working remotely, we switched to Miro to address a few issues:
- Establish a fast and reliable way to brainstorm together.
- Keep all our schedules, social media planning and graphic proposals for clients hosted in one platform, one that is available easily and fast to check from the client side.
Pros
- Easy to create several projects and share with clients.
- Brainstorm collectively.
- Social media planning.
Cons
- The price might be a little steep when trying to add collaborators.
- The streaming video quality is not smooth enough, at least for me.
- The permissions system for one-time visitors is confusing.
- Time for project completions has reduced to 25% - 30% overall.
- No problem with time zones: the platform is collaborative so each one of us work on its own time and that makes us improve productivity and reduce project times.
- Our business is design and we charge mostly flat fees for each project. Miro helps us make business for new services like research sessions, design thinking activities and such.
That's one of the best features of Miro: we work through various time zones, so it's a breeze just to log in in the morning and check what my partner has done on the other side of the world. Besides that, there is an amazing library of pre-made diagrams and charts you can use as a starting point to build your own presentations.

We used Asana for a very long time, to organize our teams. We moved from Asana to Miro, and although team calendars are not the primary objective of the Miro platform, we only had the budget to pay for ONE application besides the google ecosystem. So now we work with Google calendar along with the amazing features of Miro. We do not need anything else.
