Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As a designer, I always used Miro to draw brain diagrams that I used in presentations and to describe my idea. Both the editing mode or the presentation mode are commonly used in my daily work. Currently, I only have one small problem and that is I cannot choose a gradient color in Miro.
  • Line weight
  • Picture importing
  • Arrows connection
  • Real-time cooperation
  • Gradient colors
  • Add more amazing templates
  • Add more arrow styles
  • It has improved my productivity.
  • Somehow, it managed to replace Adobe Illustrator for me.
  • I am able to edit on the web.
I prefer to start by browsing the templates in the library before I start a new project. However, I am not quite satisfied with the current template offerings, because there is less quantity to choose from and I cannot find my ideal template. Because of this, I have to start from scratch with the font size and color.
I like the online editing most because it gets rid of the normal USB or hard disk, which is easy to lose data or forget to bring them from the office. I especially like that Miro can export PDF diagrams so that I can import the files to other software like ID to arrange them into a book.
People commonly choose to use Zoom to have a meeting online. The basic whiteboard in Zoom cannot provide useful functions for participants, because the objects will not be saved after meeting ends. Miro can save and protect the data in the Cloud and it saves frequently so that the data is not lost.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

There is no need to say Adobe Illustrator CC has more advanced functions than Miro. However, I think Miro already provides the essential functions for most people, like drawing diagrams, arranging figures, or documenting ideas. Also, Adobe Illustrator CC requires more performance on a laptop, whereas you can edit easily with Miro on any computer without the performance demand.
Miro is good at documenting your ideas and methodologies during a meeting or chat as it is easy to record the words and import the figures from other sources. The online real-time editing mode is the most amazing function because all the other participants can be involved in the communication and give comments in a short time intuitively.
