Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Every time we need to brainstorm or make a dynamic presentation where the stakeholders have to interact with the information shared, we use Miro boards. It is very user friendly and intuitive, it very easy to navigate and the tool allows you to have a large amount of information in the same place.

Pros

  • Large amounts of data.

Cons

  • Sometimes the board is too big and you get lost.
  • It is not accurate when you click on icons.
  • Overwhelming tools.
  • Saves time on presentations.
  • Better productivity.
  • Keep people engaged.
It is true that at the beginning, there is an investment in time every user needs to sacrifice in order to acquire a good understanding of the tool. However, as I said before, it is very intuitive and it does not need a lot of front hours to understand the basics of the tool.
As far as we have used the tool, it was not integrated with any other applications. That being said, I have not a good knowledge of the pros and cons of the potential integrations with other systems. However, I would like how it works with Microsoft Office.
The other whiteboards we used to utilize were not as advanced and, at the same time, as user-friendly as the Miro boards. It is very simple to organize ideas, move things around so there are categories and ways to classify them. It helps us to keep all the stages of the project in one location and always under control.

Yes

It is a very good tool to interact with a lot of people. It allows to add everyone ideas (specifically when solving problems or performing retros) and the fact that you do not have to pass slides or anything like that, it is good to keep all the participants in the same page.
