Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I'm a visual learner and communicator. If you put me in a conference room with team members, I'll be taking the seat closest to the whiteboard and grabbing a whole bunch of markers.
I'm the note-taker, the diagram-drawer, the visual-thinker, the metaphor-maker, and the flowchart-framer. I'm the go-to guy for helping bring visuals to the words, making the unseen seen, and adding clarity to the conversation by bringing the big picture and connections into focus.
When we all went to remote work, that superpower was lost.
Miro brought it back.
They've made it *dead* simple to throw ideas on a collaborative, real-time digital whiteboard, drop comments and notes, connect ideas and concepts, and capture on a computer what we only previously did together on a wall.
It's my new favorite tool for personal note-taking, team meeting notes and agendas, status reports, collaborative spreadsheets (yes, I'm looking at you, GDocs...), digital dashboards, and more.

Pros
- Real-time collaboration
- Single-sign-on integration
- Easy to use navigation
- Integration with 3rd party tools (i.e., Slack)
- Extensive visual library
- Demos, samples, and tutorials of how others use it
Cons
- Add interactive features such as radio buttons, toggle switches, etc.
- Add iPad drawing support
- No hard numbers to quantify just yet, but it has become my single-point-of-truth for critical information.
- I love being able to just launch Miro and have quick access to my teams' various boards, all distinct but still linked to each other. It's faster and easier to get data in/out of it than a custom-built app we've spent a year developing.
- It just feels *slick* and polished. The UX is nearly frictionless. It's so well designed that you just don't *notice* how easy it is to use... it just *is*. And to me, that's a hallmark of good design -- when it becomes so simple and easy that it's natural.
I love being able to use the 'bring users to me' feature...so no matter where I am on the various boards, I can see who is logged in, where they are, and click a button to get them to see where I am. No more downtime of "hey everyone, look over here...". Multiple users logged in across several time zones, and it's still simple to use.
