Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I work in a team that problem solved by ideating customer experiences. The team used miro to document research, and ideas and also to vote on solutions. Finally, we used the various templates on miro to prepare wireframes and decks to present our ideas

Pros

  • Borderless "flipchart" allows users to put multiple ideas adjacent to one another without having to worry that they have run out of space
  • Voting
  • Audit trail

Cons

  • In my experience, preparing presentation decks was quite cumbersome. Lack of templates. Miro loses by a mile to Powerpoint and Canva
  • Improved productivity
  • Allows less vocal members to put ideas across
  • Supports remote working
No implementation. We used a trial version of miro
Cannot comment as we used a trial version of miro.
The team was entirely remote and we completed 2 projects without having to physically meet

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro wins on the collaboration front but Canva wins on presentation templates
Works well for free-form brainstorming sessions but doesn't work so well when putting together a professional-looking deck
