Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Mapping ideas for product discovery, how to proceed with product implementations User flows/journeys. This is especially helpful when explaining a complex flow with users or internal stakeholders. I also like to use this to create documents that have a mixture of designs and words because the flexibility that it provides allows me to add a lot more visual elements, and it allows for spelling checks.

Pros

  • Spelling check.
  • Collaboration.
  • Writing up instruction and guidance with diagram.
  • Affinity mapping.

Cons

  • Ability to create my own color and font library.
  • Ability to change canvas background color and grid style.
  • When embed Miro to other place, allow the ability to disable/hide toolbar.
  • Reduced project completion time.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Very good for collaboration/workshop.
  • Need better integration with other applications.
I didn't participate in the implantation.
Tried to embed Miro on to wiki page. I don't like how it looks. I want a view-only look to display the roadmap, and the users may zoom in or out to view details. The embedded window displays the toolbar with its full functionalities, which is not what I want.
I really enjoy collaborating with my teammates via miro. It is quick and replicable/templatizedable, which is good when I want to run the same workshop multiple times. Unlike the traditional physical whiteboard, with the whiteboard every time after a workshop is finished, we need to take pictures to document the outcome. With miro, non of that is needed.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I am just more familiar with Miro. And I really dislike how draw.io looks, it looks very 1990s, and I am not sure if it is because of my setting or not, but when my co-worker makes an update there, I don't see updates in real-time. I can only see it after my co-worker saved it.
Well suited when you want to do something quickly, like map out a user flow or for brainstorming sessions. I also like the timer feature in the app; very good when I am running a workshop on a tight timeline. It won't be appropriate for fine-tuning the design or providing details.
