Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Design Sprints are a common use case for a miro board, but also user or customer journeys are often drawn on Miro. Mostly for virtual meetings, which is the vast majority of out meetings. As I work in It it is usually either for an internally used tool or something for the customer (website mall, customer center, login and so on)
Pros
- Collecting feedback from users
- Annotating a design when reviewing
- Structuring and clustering ideas
Cons
- Pixel perfect design. That it does not offer
- Interaktive elements (like buttons) would be pretty cool but you really have to think around the corner for that
- The Sso prevents me from using the Sketch plug in. That is very annoying
- Faster problem understanding
- Easier onboarding of new colleagues
- Designs more mangment approval
I think it was rather Corona that made us all work from home but miro was a key to overcome that. Now that it is working so well remote noone is in the office anymore. I get kind of lonely. But yeah we always have been international and we still are, just with less 200 page word documents. Miro is more efficient in that.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
I really did forget the competitors. Ms whiteboard was cheap and included but horrible. The webex board does not do well as well. We had some free Alternatives in the beginning but nothing else lived on. Miro is versatile, good at importing picture assets. Bot great for 200+ people meetings though bad Performance!
