Miro Review
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Over the years, we have used Miro for a few different purposes:
- mocks for digital education products - we have found this to be very helpful as it allows for viewing mocks and making notes
- visualization of information architecture - we had a complex "path" for students to take in the new product we were working on and needed an easy way to show it mapped out.
- New Product Brainstorming/Design Thinking Sessions - Miro has been instrumental in allowing us to have many folks using it in the same session working independently and making notes in the same view as we are individually jotting out notes and then compiling them together.
Pros
- allows for multiple users at the same time
- creation of notes for specific areas
- it is very easy and intuitive to use
Cons
- if there are multiple boards being used, it was not always easy to go between them
- improved visibility to reduce time understanding requirements
It was invaluable in the brainstorming and UX design phases of our new products.
