Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for systems, architecture, user flow, and many other technical diagramming use cases.
Pros
- Flexible with the type of content supported.
- Collaborative editing.
- Fine-grained permissions.
- Easy for users to get started - no app to install.
Cons
- Moving boards from one project to another is awkward.
- Users often find it hard to understand to what account or team they are adding a board, making it hard to collaborate with them later.
- It has made our remote collaboration on technical designs much faster with less friction. We are able to cut down the time it takes to get a design in front of the right people and incorporate their feedback into it.
It has made it easier to collaborate with people all over the world in one place that is relatively easy to access, understand, and use.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
It's too hard to collaborate quickly with people in Visio. Between installing the application and making sure you're licensed, it takes too much time. Miro is easy to get up and running with and can even support some collaboration with people who don't have a license. draw.io is just a little harder to use than Miro.
