Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Brainstorming, roadmaps, storyboards, mindmap, collaborative meetings, retrospectives, planning. Basically as a scratchpad/whiteboard to facilitate thinking.

Pros

  • the new name tags are handy
  • templates
  • ability to import icons

Cons

  • connecting sticky notes can be granrly
  • having to put a frame around stuff in order to export it creates an extra step
  • sizing variation between boards can be shocking
  • improved productivity
  • easier collaboration
  • quicker feedback
we are still stuck at procurement stage and might have to give up miro because setting up an MSA has been a pain
not applicable
extremely useful for remote collaboration esp during pandemic

Miro is the easier to use and has more valuable features. I'd only use alternatives if I am forced to.
well suited: early ideation
less appropriate: final polishing, maybe more professional tools will be more appropriate here depending on the company culture
