Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for all kinds of purposes. We mostly use it as a communal space where we can share the most important information for our team. This goes from calendars with an overview of our holidays and birthdays, to a matrix with the latest screenshots of communications that we send to our customers. We also use it as a space to collaborate during meetings, where we post our ideas using sticky notes or where we discuss how our latest sprint was. It is simply the place I go to when I need to find anything relating to my team.
  • Enables you to cooperate easily during meetings
  • Tools are easy to find
  • Pasting pictures is very easy and works well, doesn't mess up the entire board
  • As a copywriter, I think textwriting is not supported well enough. It's hard to navigate through different parts of text and it would be nice to be able to copy or save texts in an easier way. It would also be nice if you could lock texts, so that others can't mess with my copy without my permission.
  • I think the controls could be better. I often try to use shortcuts I would also use in Figma or Photoshop, such as cntrl + Z, but they don't work. I think navigating the board is a hassle sometimes.
  • I don't like how I don't stay logged into Miro. Everytime I open the board, I need to log in again as a user for my coworkers to see that it's me on the board.
  • Improved productivity across multiple teams, working together is just easier.
  • We used it for some UX-designs, which saved a lot of time and impacted the speed with which we could deliver new features.
I need to skip this question but your platform is telling me it's not possible without an explanation.
Miro has made it much easier for us to work remotely, since we don't need to be in a room together to use a whiteboard anymore. We can share all our ideas in realtime in Miro. This is ideal, since we are working from home a lot in our company and we also collaborate with people abroad. Despite being apart, the creativity stays intact.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I didn't personally select Miro, but I feel it's more intuitive than MURAL.
Collaborating during a meeting is very easy in Miro. I think it's especially wonderful during brainstorms or when you're exploring something. However if you're working towards an end product (especially as a copywriter), it's less suitable. I've often seen my work get deleted by someone else accidentally or someone used an old version that was still hanging around the board somewhere.
