Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use the Miro board for different things in our organization
- internal brainstorming
- collaboration with other companies in our network
- working white board for OKR sessions, which can be completed little by little for every cycle
- customer workshops (Design Thinking, Strategy Workshops, Customer Journey, Pain Storming)
- Kanban Board
- Scrum ceremonies like Retro
- Planning Poker

Pros

  • Big selection of common used templates e.g. business model canvas
  • Easy and intuitive way to make a pretty board
  • Cool add in features: Emojis, Icons, Gifs
  • Frames to download it as PDF after a workshop as documentation

Cons

  • Sizing and cropping imported pictures
  • Editing points of shapes
  • Reduce Loading time of the board, especially when there are a lot of elements on the board
  • Improved cross-functional collaboration
  • more engagement of customers and therefore better results
  • getting to know new approaches and frameworks
We only integrated Miro in MS teams, therefore I cannot say much about other integration with Miro.
As for MS Teams we like that we can link a certain Miro board directly to a tab, so that every colleague has direct access to the teams white board. And we can communicate to dos or goals for our next cycle easily
We are improving more and more with Miro. Before it was more a White board where everyone can leave their notes. But as Miro is evolving so do we. We love trying out new features of Miro for example the planning poker add-in. By that certain collaborations are made easier and more fun for all participants so that we now are moving to always using micro for everything we are doing in terms of planning, holding workshops and even having fun with colleagues.

Yes

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

We also did use MURAL. But in comparison we like the interface of Miro more. It is more intuitive and offer much more features which are very valuable. Most of our customers are also more familiar with Miro, why we would choose Miro as our go to.
Miro is super helpful for doing remote workshops. It is easy to set up and you can easily integrate screenshots of powerpoint slides, so that you can directly present in Miro without changing the programs. Furthermore it enhances collaboration, since everyone who have access can directly enter their ideas/answers to the board. Also as a documentation tool it is helpful and can be used further in follow-up meetings
