Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for visually displaying ideas, prototypes and documenting discovery learnings within product teams and across initiatives.

Pros

  • Commenting/tagging other users
  • Available Templates
  • Documenting customer or product workflows
  • Collaboration across multiple users

Cons

  • Loading - it takes forever just to open one board
  • Supporting multiple open boards - my computer crashes if I try to open 3 or more Miro boards
  • Searching - on well used boards, it can be hard to find what you're looking for
  • The cost per user vs. the Return on Investment is not there. Our teams have started to only purchase Miro licenses for core team members which dramatically limits the team collaboration options. We have supplemented with other lower cost tools.
Miro has made it extremely easy to collaborate across in-person and remote workers. We use it daily within our team to add comments, new ideas and to share next steps. We use Miro for planning, ideating, prototyping and documenting discovery.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

No

Teams, MURAL, Lucidspark, MURAL, ClickUp all have similar product offerings and some for free.
Would recommend higher if Miro loaded more efficiently, there was a way to cross boards to tie information together (today you have to copy/paste to another board to share), and the integration in Teams worked better.
