Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used in many ways for many teams across my larger enterprise organization. However, I primarily use it for structuring brainstorming, virtual white-boarding during a meeting, documenting flows, and social activities / games. I've had up to 150 people within the same Miro board to share in a creation experience.

Pros

  • Virtual whiteboarding
  • Templates (including community submissions)
  • Public access to boards for guests

Cons

  • scaling of objects when copy/pasting between boards
  • sharing a portion of a board, not entire board
  • more colors of stickies!
  • Less travel necessary for project kickoffs, etc.
Some folks in other parts of the organization used different virtual white-boarding tools when we signed on with Miro. Most of them have converted, but not all, as some specialized business units were particular about their choice. However, for the most part, it was about education of the tool, and having folks see it in action. The YouTube intro videos provided by Miro were also an excellent training tool.
My team is entirely virtual, and we would not be able to do our work effectively without a tool like Miro.
Miro works for our organization from a functionality standpoint, as well as having one of the most intuitive user interfaces. Other tools have slightly better teams/board management and administration.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I highly recommend Miro for dispersed virtual teams who are looking for a platform to come together to brainstorm, document, or provide a "tabletop" space for social games. It is a shared sketchbook, if you will.
I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking to export your Miro information directly into a different form or tool.
