Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for a wide variety of tasks: creating collaborative boards for brainstorming ideas, performing in-depth problem solving, creating interactive 1:1 boards to track objective progress with my team members, prototyping visual management tools, and creating a virtual whiteboard to aggregate ideas for both local and remote workers.

Pros

  • Whiteboard with post-it notes
  • Flowcharts
  • Project planning
  • Problem solving

Cons

  • Easily locking down frames and content to protect it from being modified.
  • Creating workflows with email/Teams integration
  • Ability to embed video
  • Improved productivity
  • Focused/targeted problem solving
The barrier to entry for this product is incredibly low. Using browser-based applications makes it easy for anyone to run.
We started using Miro during the big shutdown to connect remote workers. It has become ubiquitous with Kaizens to capture ideas and allow for collaboration.
Easier to use and cheaper than Visio, more powerful than Figma.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

For brainstorming and idea collaboration, nothing beats Miro. It is quick to launch, easy to use, and highly accessible. I use it for working with on-site as well as remote colleagues.
It is useful for training and communication as well. I use it for staff meetings to disseminate information and can take notes right in the tool.
