Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for all projects. We put Miro on any processes we do to help communicate with the entire team. It also helps us sketch over ideas to discuss in meetings and test them. Having team members interstate has really helped in assisting collaboration.

Pros

  • Sketching ideas.
  • Brainstorming.
  • Documenting processes.

Cons

  • Tagging key frames to refer too.
  • Meetings a much more efficient.
  • Don't need to rely on emails or meetings to brief on things.
  • We worked with an overseas company, and they left comments and images for us to continue working on. Because of the time difference, we did not need to organize late meetings to hand over.
I had never used Miro before, but it was very intuitive and easy to use when I started at this new company. I can't imagine having projects without Miro.
We have collaborated with interstate and international companies. It has been super useful, as time zones are not always aligned, so the whiteboard gives a good opportunity to have handover notes and visually explain the next steps. This is very important, especially in architecture. We can sketch directly onto Miro without needing to do it by hand and scan in—a very efficient and unified language with collaborators.
I think Miro is definitely better as you can save the content compared to Zoom. Adobe, you need to share via email or other means, and it is not all in one place.
