Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are using Miro for design and ideas collab across teams. It is a canvas for the entire team to put their ideas forward.

Design iterations are created by my team and it is easy to communicate just with Miro. We also like the fact that it is used for our agile meetings with daily templates

Pros

  • Team collaboration
  • Templates for various decision making tools
  • Design and UX
  • Wireframing

Cons

  • Integration with JIRA
  • Better presentation modes for sharing
  • Mobile application can be made better for iOS
  • Collaboration improvement
  • Better project management as a supplement tool
  • Free pricing
It is free to use and very easy to set up in a team. So that is the biggest advantage for a start at any scale. The downside is it does not integrate with JIRA, Trello, etc. So, the usage somewhat feels blocked at times. But overall Miro is has been super useful for us!
All the departments can contribute to what what we call the "Community" board. It is a space for our free flowing ideas.
Great features, easy implementation and freemium model.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

No

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

No

Our team is 100% remote so distant collaboration is a breeze! Very easy and seamless. It fits well with our agile mindset and helps with our stand ups. It is not exactly suited for complex designs so we use other tools for that. But it isn't the purpose anyways so doesn't matter. Version control of the files can be a better and integrating with project management tools like JIRA, Trello, etc.
